The MOST difficult part of mounting the winch was bolting on the fairleads. The bolts sit behind the vertical rollers and are very difficult to get on. This is because there is not much clearance on either side and if you have some pudgy digits like me, it is trying on your patience! There are only 2 bolts, but this step took over 45 minutes!! The way we finally got it was to have one person come at the bolt from the side with a box wrench, while another person applied some pressure onto the top of the bolt so that the thread would take. Once it did start to thread, it was a long process of tightening, due to the limited space allowed to work the wrench- about a 1/4 turn at a time.
