With the fairleads finally on it was time for a beer break and time to catch up on some NBA scores. It was now time to put on the trim stripping that fills the gap between the top of the bar and the quarter panels. With the stripping supplied, you have to disassemble the rubber a bit to get the support bracket to fit. The ARB install guide glossed over this. Basically you need to remove one section, but also you need to separate one of the grooves as it appears to have "welded" together at some point. The support bracket fits easily and screws to the top of the bar. Be sure that it is in the correct orientation. With a perfect sense of timing, another buddy showed up and I did not hesitate to put him to work! He asked me if I had another bar and winch sitting around to put on his K5 Blazer!!
